Military Appreciation Day 2022
The Military Affairs Committee of the Silverdale Chamber is proud to announce that the 2022 Military Appreciation Day Carnival and Informational Fair has been scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds in the Kitsap Sun Pavilion. Military Appreciation Day (MAD) is an interactive event that highlights the community support for our local military members, including Active Duty, National Guard Reservists, Retirees and their families. MAD is the largest event of its kind in Kitsap County and we hope to surpass the 3,500 that attended MAD in 2020.
This year’s Information Fair and Carnival will include games, prizes, military displays and information on the duties performed by our area service members, as well as inflatables for the kids. We encourage all of our vendors to create their booths to show support for our Military Community.
Applications for booths and sponsorships are now being accepted. Please download and print the registration form and remit your payment to the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce. Deadline to participate or sponsor is Friday, February 25, 2022.
Please note, we are monitoring the incidence of COVID-19 in our region and will continue following guidance from local and state health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding indoor gatherings. Masks will be required when guests are not actively eating or drinking, and the venue rooms will be at reduced capacity with social distancing in effect.

The Military Affairs Committee helps military personnel adjust to and enjoy life in Central Kitsap, by holding functions introducing them to local businesses and organizations and by working with military organizations to provide additional assistance and foster fellowship with Chamber members. We work to cultivate and support Veteran-owned businesses and promote community awareness of our military members.
